She is a very happy recipient of two Jim Henson Foundation Grants, an Emerging Artist fellowship at the National Puppetry Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, a UNIMA Grant for International Study in Puppetry, a YES Foundation Fellowship, a series of career-enabling studio residencies from Chashama, and much incredible support from her community at the 2013 Smell of Hope Fundraiser.   Emily is very proud that since its foundation in 2008, the Puppet Kitchen has worked equally hard to create quality puppetry and to offer peer-to-peer development and support in the puppetry community.
